Do I need a new number or POS?

No. AfterChat connects through the official WhatsApp Business API and runs alongside your existing systems. Customers keep the same number and thread.

How long does setup take?

Most stores are live within 24 to 48 hours. We connect WhatsApp, load your catalogue, tune the tone and FAQs, then test with you.

What if the assistant does not know something?

It offers the closest catalogue match and keeps the conversation moving. Clear buying intent triggers a handoff to your team with full context.

Is customer data safe?

Yes. Each store is isolated in a multi-tenant architecture, data is encrypted in transit, and only what is needed to answer customers is processed, aligned with POPIA.
